Aging cosmetics mogul Sally Fay searches for the Fountain of Youth to save her company from being fired, accompanied by her assistant Neil. They receive a map from a South American native, leading them to a steam room in Encino, California, where they believe the water may hold the secret to eternal youth. Neil meets a group of simple-minded regulars, including Wade, a hopeless romantic, and learns that the steam room's owner, Old Man Johnson, is struggling to come up with $25,000 to pay back taxes.
