Reggie, a young dog, faces a harsh reality living with Doug, a cruel and heartless owner who constantly tries to get rid of him. After being forced to fend for himself, Reggie befriends Bug, a street-smart canine who takes him under his wing and teaches him the ways of surviving on the streets without human help.
