Erin Grant, a former FBI secretary, loses her job and custody of her daughter after her husband's arrest record is revealed. To raise the necessary funds to appeal the decision, she becomes a stripper at the Eager Beaver club, where she gains popularity and support from her fellow dancers and fans. Meanwhile, her husband uses their daughter to steal wheelchairs from hospitals and sell them, and Erin's colleague, Congressman David Dilbeck, becomes infatuated with her.
