The submarine's captain ventures ashore to gather intel on an island near Sumatra, leaving the ship in the hands of Mister Cutter after the executive officer is injured. However, Cutter's leadership is challenged by the chief of the boat, putting the submarine at risk. With limited oxygen, a Japanese destroyer closing in, and damage to the boat, Seaviper must fight to survive and escape to deliver crucial information about U-235 to Pearl Harbor.
