A college student in Texas, who has survived by following strict rules, sets out on a journey to Ohio to search for his family after a zombie apocalypse. Along the way, he meets a ruthless zombie slayer and a young woman who is desperate to end her sister's suffering after she was bitten. Their paths converge as they head towards a supposedly zombie-free LA park.
