Abdullah Mahmoud

Born in 1959 in the vibrant city of Cairo, Egypt, this talented actor embarked on his journey in the world of acting as a child, participating in school plays and children's programs. Following his graduation from the Agricultural Cooperation Institute, he further honed his craft by enrolling in the prestigious Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts. This marked the beginning of his artistic career, which was catapulted to new heights with his role in the series "Al-Bostaji". This breakthrough led to his participation in a plethora of television series, including the critically acclaimed "Fire Bird", "Gates of the City", and "The Innocents". The legendary director Youssef Chahine took notice of his exceptional talent and introduced him to the world through his film "Alexandria, Why?", paving the way for him to appear in numerous iconic films, such as "The Bus Driver", "The Ring and the Bracelet", "The Rise of Palm Trees", and "The Egyptian Citizen".
