Adam Bernstein embarked on a remarkable career trajectory, initially as an animator, and by the age of 26, he successfully produced the first original programming for the esteemed Nickelodeon Network.
He subsequently transitioned to directing, accumulating an impressive portfolio of over seventy music videos, including the iconic "Love Shack" for the B-52's, "Hey Ladies" for the Beastie Boys, and "Baby's Got Back" for Sir Mix-a-Lot.
Beyond his extensive music video work, Adam has also helmed multiple pilots, including those for "Fargo", "30 Rock", "Scrubs", "Alpha House", and "Strangers with Candy". Furthermore, he has directed numerous episodes of the critically acclaimed series "Oz" and "Breaking Bad".
Throughout his illustrious career, Adam has garnered a plethora of prestigious awards, including a Golden Globe for his work on "Fargo", an Emmy Award for "30 Rock", an MTV Award for "Love Shack", a Peabody Award for "Homicide - Life on the Street", and a Good Citizenship Medal from the Daughters of the American Revolution, bestowed upon him in 1973.
Currently, Adam resides in New York City with his wife, the talented actress Jessica Hecht.
