Adam G. Simon, also known as Adam Gregory Simon, is a multi-talented individual with a background in screenwriting, producing, and acting for both television and film. He currently resides in Southeast Asia with his partner Larissa Andrade, where they are raising their son.
As a writer, Adam has gained recognition for his work on several projects. One of his notable works is the action film "Point Blank" (2019),an adaptation of Fred Cavaye's French Action Thriller "A Bout Portant". The film was directed by Joe Lynch and stars Anthony Mackie, Marcia Gay Harden, Frank Grillo, Teyonah Paris, Boris McGiver, and Markice Moore. Although critics received the film negatively, it went on to gain a large audience and re-emerged on Netflix in 2024 as the sixth most-watched film globally.
Adam is also the lead writer of the eight-episode series "One Day in October" (2024),which revolves around the events of October 7, 2023, and was shot on location in Israel. The series is distributed by Fox Global and is set to be released in 2025.
In addition to his work as a writer, Adam has also penned the screenplay for the psychological war drama "Man Down" (2015),directed by Dito Montiel and starring Shia LaBeouf, Gary Oldman, Jai Courtney, and Kate Mara. The film premiered at the Venice Italy Film Festival.
As a producer, Adam has worked on several projects, including the period horror film "The Dreadful", directed by Natasha Kermani and starring Sophie Turner, Kit Harington, Marcia Gay Harden, and Laurence O'Fuarain.
In 2023, Adam reunited with Dito Montiel to executive produce the dark comedy "Riff Raff" (2024),which stars Jennifer Coolidge, Bill Murray, Pete Davidson, Ed Harris, and Gabrielle Union. The film made its debut at the 2024 Toronto Film Festival.
Adam has also executive produced the film "The Performance" (2023),directed by Shira Piven and starring Jeremy Piven, Robert Carlyle, and Maime McCoy, based on the Arthur Miller short story of the same name.
Currently, Adam is developing the action-comedy "Hit Kick Punch Kill", which he wrote and is producing with StoryBoard Media, set for release in 2025.
In addition to his work in the film industry, Adam co-wrote the action thriller "The Brass Catchers" with filmmaker Joe Carnahan, which they are producing together.
Adam has also produced the coming-of-age film "On Our Way" (2021),starring James Badge Dale, Jordana Brewster, Michael Richardson, Vanessa Redgrave, and Keith Powers.
Before starting his professional career as a writer and producer, Adam worked as a bodyguard and close protection specialist.
Adam is an advocate for the homeless, having experienced homelessness himself while writing "Man Down", and speaks out as an advocate for homeless veterans and survivors of abuse.
