Adam Michael Richard Sopp was born on August 27th, 1986, at Farnborough Hospital in Kent. His journey in the entertainment industry began with his professional debut in 1995, when he played the role of Nipper in Cameron Mackintosh's production of Oliver! at the renowned London Palladium.
Following his success in Oliver!, Adam took on the role of Gavroche in Les Miserables at the Palace Theatre in 1996. His early start in the industry was marked by a strong foundation in theatre, with lead roles in various productions.
Adam's television debut came in 1998, when he joined the cast of BBC's popular children's show Grange Hill. He remained with the show for four series, earning a Bafta award for its contribution to Children's Television in 2001.
After leaving Grange Hill, Adam trained at the prestigious Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, where he had the opportunity to take on lead roles in several productions. These included Midsummer Night's Dream, Vincent River by Philip Ridley, and Stags and Hens by Willy Russell.
Upon graduating from the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, Adam went on to appear in a range of television shows, including Teenage Kicks (ITV),Casualty 1907 (BBC),Doctors (BBC),and In Parenthesis by Ben Hales at the Churchill Theatre.
Adam's stage credits also include a production of All Quiet on the Western Front by Eric Maria Remarque at the Nottingham Playhouse. He is set to make his film debut in 'Abroad', directed by Philip John.
