Adam Till, an award-winning writer and producer, is based in Toronto, Canada. He initially pursued a career in law, graduating with a dual degree in Juris Doctor (JD) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Osgoode Hall Law School and Schulich School of Business. However, his experience in law was short-lived, and he soon left to develop an idea for a television show inspired by his own experiences.
Adam created, co-executive produced, and wrote the majority of the episodes for the series Billable Hours, which aired on Showcase and Global from 2006 to 2009. The show earned him the Gemini Award for Best Writing in a Comedy series during its final season.
In addition to his work on Billable Hours, Adam has written films featuring notable actors such as Rob Lowe, Mira Sorvino, and Abigail Breslin. His film, Leo, won the Canadian Comedy Award for Film Writing in 2006.
Adam's academic endeavors began when he was approached to develop the Writing for Film & Television program at Toronto Film School in 2010. He directed the program for the next 11 years and later became the Program Chair of the Bachelor of Creative Arts program at Yorkville University, a Toronto Film School affiliate.
In his most recent role, Adam serves as the Vice President, Academic, at Toronto Film School, bringing his extensive experience in the entertainment industry and academic leadership to his position.
