Adriana, a native of Los Angeles, embarked on a journey of artistic expression at the tender age of seven, commencing her studies in acting, singing, dance, and piano. This marked the beginning of a lifelong passion for the performing arts, as she soon found herself taking to the stage in theatre productions just a year later.
Throughout her career, Adriana has demonstrated her versatility as a performer, bringing to life a wide range of characters, from a lethal criminal to a cynical sheriff, and even an overzealous best friend. Her portrayal in the critically acclaimed production "Real Women Have Curves" earned her high praise, with one critic noting that she "enters the stage with the most clearly defined back-story and portrays real emotional depth..."
While acting remains her first love, Adriana has always had an entrepreneurial spirit, which led her to open and operate her own café, "Midnite Java", straight out of high school. She successfully ran the business for five years, simultaneously pursuing her bachelor's degrees in psychology and criminal justice. During this time, she worked in the social services and criminal justice field, further honing her skills.
As she continued to work in the criminal justice field, Adriana began to transition into the world of television, film, and commercial production, taking on roles as a production assistant and coordinator. She worked on several hit shows, including "Malcolm in the Middle" and "CSI: Miami", before eventually becoming a casting director. Her bilingualism has also afforded her the opportunity to work on projects in Mexico, both as an actress and production coordinator.
Adriana's diverse experience led her to co-found the Museon Performing Arts Company in 2005, where she teaches acting to children and teens. Through her company, she has directed and produced dozens of plays, and since 2010, has also begun writing, producing, and directing short films, which has opened up new opportunities for her as a director.
