Adrienne Frantz is a renowned actor, singer, and songwriter who rose to fame in the 1990s and 2000s through her roles on two CBS daytime dramas.
Born Adrienne Danielle Frantz in Mount Clemens, Michigan, she began her journey in the performing arts at a young age, holding private dance recitals by the time she was three.
Despite a busy schedule of dance, voice, and theater classes, Frantz managed to graduate from Shawnee High School in Medford, New Jersey at the age of 18, and promptly moved to New York City to pursue her dreams.
While enrolled in her freshman year at Marymount College in New York City, Frantz landed the role of Tiffany Thorne on Aaron Spelling's NBC soap-opera Sunset Beach in 1997, and later moved to Los Angeles.
She joined the cast of The Bold and the Beautiful in 1997, playing the character of Amber Moore, and quickly became a fan favorite. Her portrayal of the scheming and vulnerable Amber earned her an Emmy Award for 'Outstanding Younger Actress' in 2001, as well as additional nominations in 2000 and 2003.
Frantz's character Amber was a central figure in the show's storyline, particularly in her romantic relationships with Rick Forrester, played by Jacob Young and later Justin Torkildsen.
In 2003, Frantz took on the role of Amber's twin sister April, and in 2005, she left the show to pursue other projects. However, her character Amber returned to The Bold and the Beautiful in 2006, and later to The Young and the Restless in 2006, where she remained until 2010.
In addition to her work on the soaps, Frantz has also pursued a music career, releasing her own self-written songs and performing in several B&B episodes. She has also worked on various voice-overs and film projects, including The Wild Thornberrys and Speedway Junky.
Frantz is a dedicated supporter of animal and health welfare organizations, and enjoys writing poetry, composing music, attending concerts, skiing, playing softball, and relaxing at home with her pets.
In her personal life, Frantz was previously in a relationship with Goo Goo Dolls frontman Johnny Rzeznik, and has been married to actor Scott Bailey since 2011. The couple welcomed their first child in December 2015.
