Maria Margarita Amada Fteha Isidro, a multifaceted individual with a storied past, was born on July 20, 1966, in the vibrant city of Manila, Philippines. As the granddaughter of renowned film producer Narciso Isidro, she was destined for greatness.
At the tender age of 18, Maria's curiosity about the spotlight led her to become a magazine cover girl. This experience whet her appetite for the world of entertainment, and she went on to pursue a degree in Interior Design, graduating in 1989.
After working in Singapore for a brief period, Maria's passion for fashion led her to New York, where she enrolled in the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology to study Fashion and Merchandising.
Maria's journey in the entertainment industry took a dramatic turn when she joined her sisters, who were backup singers for the renowned Sharon Cuneta. It was during these performances that she caught the attention of industry professionals, who soon asked her to pinch-hit for the pregnant Lara Melissa de Leon in the film Sa Linggo NAPOSila. And, as they say, the rest is history.
