Taylan, a highly accomplished and esteemed theatre graduate of the prestigious Hacettepe University State Conservatory, has made a profound and lasting impression on the entertainment industry, with his mesmerizing and captivating on-screen presence, most notably exemplified by his unforgettable and charismatic performance as Iskender in the widely acclaimed and beloved surreal comedy series Leyla ile Mecnun, as well as his numerous and diverse film appearances.
Taylan's artistic journey began in his formative years, where he spent a significant period of time, from 1989 to 1993, refining his skills at the esteemed Diyarbakir State Theatre. Following this period of intense artistic development, he embarked on a new adventure, venturing abroad to the Theatre an Der Ruhr in Germany, where he had the privilege of working alongside the renowned Roberto Ciulli from 1993 to 1994.
Taylan's impressive portfolio extended far beyond his artistic pursuits, as he concurrently held the distinguished position of General Secretary of the Devlet Tiyatrolari Sanatcilari Dernegi, commonly referred to as DETIS, the State Theatre Artists' Association, until his resignation in the year 2006.
