Aimee Carrero was born on July 15, 1988, in the vibrant city of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She was later raised in the sun-kissed city of Miami, Florida. Aimee attended the prestigious Archbishop Coleman F. Carroll High School, where she graduated in 2006. This marked the beginning of her journey in the world of professional acting.
As Aimee's career took off, she started making television appearances, showcasing her talents in notable shows such as Hannah Montana (2006),Lincoln Heights (2006),and The Mentalist (2008). Her first major film credit came in the form of the animated comedy Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel (2009).
Aimee's most notable role to date is her portrayal of spirited teenager Angie Prietto in the television movie Level Up (2011). The film premiered on November 23, 2011, and went on to spawn a successful series, Level Up (2012),the following year. Aimee reprised her role in the series, joining her original cast mates on further adventures within and outside the series' online video game, "Maldark: Conqueror of All Worlds." These adventures served as the premise for the series, which continued to air on the Cartoon Network, the same channel where the film debuted.
In 2012, Aimee made her second film venture with the television film Blue Lagoon: The Awakening (2012),starring alongside Indiana Evans, Brenton Thwaites, and Denise Richards. Since 2009, Aimee has been a resident of Los Angeles, California, where she continues to pursue her passion for acting.
