Alana Evans was born in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, where her parents served in the United States Army. Her early life took a dramatic turn when her parents divorced, and her mother relocated to California with Alana, who was just a few months old. Growing up in Milpitas, California, Alana developed a passion for theatre at a young age and spent her formative years studying and performing in various community theatre projects.
Tragedy struck when Alana's mother passed away during her teenage years, prompting her to marry and start a family. However, after the birth of her child, Alana's husband and she became part-owners of a strip club, where she began dancing. Her performances soon took her to various clubs in the area, and she honed her skills as a dancer.
As Alana's love for performing continued to grow, she began seeking ways to build a career as a feature entertainer. In 1998, she took the bold step of entering the adult film industry, and her career soared. For nearly two decades, from 1998 to 2016, Alana continued to perform in adult films, earning multiple award nominations from AVN.
Beyond her adult film career, Alana also worked in mainstream entertainment. From 2006 to 2014, she hosted various radio shows, including Private Calls, Night Calls, Naughty Gamers, and Music To F%$ By, on Playboy Radio, which was listed on SIRIUS XM radio.
In 2016, Alana retired from performing in adult films and dedicated herself to working as the union vice president for APAG (Adult Performance Artists Guild),the first union for adult performers. She became the organization's president in 2018 and was re-elected to the position in 2021.
Today, Alana continues to act, host radio projects, and advocate for her fellow performers, cementing her status as a pioneering figure in the adult entertainment industry.
