Alex was born in the city of Sheffield, a place that would later serve as a backdrop for his professional endeavors. He began his educational journey at Marlborough College, where he honed his skills and prepared for the challenges that lay ahead. His academic pursuits continued at Cambridge University, where he read English and developed a passion for the subject.
As his educational journey came to a close, Alex turned his attention to the world of acting. He trained at the prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA),where he refined his craft and prepared himself for a career in the spotlight.
Alex's television credits are a testament to his versatility and talent. He has appeared in a wide range of shows, including the critically acclaimed "The Crown," where he played the role of Stephen Lamport, private secretary to the Prince of Wales. He has also made memorable appearances in "Andor," "Chernobyl," "Mrs. Wilson," "Random," and "Longford," among others.
In addition to his television work, Alex has also appeared in a number of popular UK TV shows, including "New Tricks," "Midsomer Murders," "Silent Witness," and "The Inspector Lynley Mysteries." His film credits include "Finding Your Feet," "The Children Act," "Chatroom," and "Amazing Grace."

The trust is dedicated to tackling the root causes of knife crime and gang culture, and providing educational and training opportunities for disadvantaged young people.
