Alex Collins is a seasoned actor, boasting an impressive portfolio that showcases his versatility and range. His most recent and notable role is that of Dr. Charles McNider/Dr. MidNite on the CW's hit series Stargirl, which has garnered widespread acclaim. His extensive list of credits includes a recurring role as Crane on the critically acclaimed HBO series Lovecraft Country, as well as his portrayal of Max Green in the Oscar-nominated film Richard Jewell. He has also made memorable appearances in Sleepy Hollow, Cobra Kai, True Detective, The Gifted, and TURN: Washington's Spies, among many other notable productions.
As a SAG-AFTRA member with over 19 years of experience, Collins has honed his skills in both the Los Angeles and Atlanta markets, exceling as an actor, content creator, producer, acting teacher, audition coach, and industry consultant. Throughout his illustrious career, he has shared the screen with industry heavyweights such as Tom Cruise, Woody Harrelson, Mahershala Ali, Cynthia Erivo, Jon Bernthal, Michelle Monaghan, David Harbour, Sam Worthington, Garret Dillahunt, and Jimmy Smits, under the direction of renowned filmmakers like Clint Eastwood, Rob Reiner, and Doug Liman.
In addition to his on-screen accomplishments, Collins has been teaching at Drama Inc. for the past eight years and is an invited guest instructor at the SAG-AFTRA Conservatory in Atlanta. With over a decade of classroom instruction and individual coaching experience, Collins has helped actors of all levels, from newcomers to series regulars, refine their craft and achieve their goals.
