Alex Schemmer, a Harvard University graduate, has also pursued studies with esteemed faculty at the New England Conservatory, the American Repertory Theater, and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in the United Kingdom.
During his time at Harvard, he took on prominent roles, including the Emcee in Cabaret, and was a member of the historic Hasty Pudding Theatricals. Additionally, he sang with the Harvard Krokodiloes, a twelve-man a cappella group, with whom he traveled to over twenty countries, including Thailand, Australia, Zimbabwe, Switzerland, and Peru.
Since relocating to Los Angeles, Alex has appeared in two feature films, The Yellow Wallpaper and Bleached, as well as the television series "Dexter" and "What About Brian." He has also landed numerous commercials and music videos.
More recently, he was featured in the CBS pilot "Demons" and starred in the Showtime Network's pilot "Shadow Point." On stage, he has portrayed Romeo in Shakespeare Orange County's production of Romeo & Juliet and Richard Loeb in the LA premiere of Thrill Me: the Leopold and Loeb Story.
As a writer, Alex has penned the screenplay "Responsible Adults," starring Katie Holmes and Chace Crawford.
