Alex Lyras is a multi-talented artist, boasting a diverse range of accomplishments as a playwright, screenwriter, actor, producer, and director. His extensive repertoire includes the critically acclaimed productions "Plasticity", "Heterosexuals", "Californication", "Tut", and "The Common Air".
As a producer and actor, Lyras collaborated on the film "Heterosexuals", which starred the talented Natasha Lyonne. Furthermore, he has successfully sold TV pilots to renowned networks such as FOX and Warner Brothers, developed an action comedy for the esteemed producer Jerry Bruckheimer, and a drama for the acclaimed producer Joel Silver. His screenplay, "Edison Illuminated", was granted the prestigious TriBeCa Film Institute Sloan Foundation award and optioned by Castle Rock.
Lyras' roots in the New York theater scene are profound, having written and produced several Off-Broadway plays.
