Alexander Nunez is a multifaceted Canadian artist of Jamaican and Chilean heritage, renowned for his captivating performances in various mediums.
Born and raised in Mississauga, Ontario, Alexander's passion for performing began to unfold at the tender age of 10. He went on to hone his craft at the esteemed Professional Actors Lab in Toronto and Angela Besharah's The Lighthouse Studio, where he continues to refine his skills to this day.
In 2014, Alexander made his professional debut in the Disney pilot Try It, shortly followed by his first scripted television role on the inaugural episode of the hit CBC and Netflix series Kim's Convenience. Since then, he has amassed an impressive body of work, featuring notable appearances in The Bold Type (Freeform),The Handmaid's Tale (Hulu),Avocado Toast the series (OutTV),A Teacher (FX on Hulu),In The Dark (CW),The Umbrella Academy (Netflix),Grand Army (Netflix),and Private Eyes (Global).
Beyond his acting prowess, Alexander has also made a name for himself as a writer, boasting credits in This Hour Has 22 Minutes (CBC),Avocado Toast (OutTV),and the critically acclaimed short film, Diversity Hire (2019).
