Alexandra Roach, a talented actress from Ammanford, Carmarthenshire, Wales, had already made a name for herself in the Welsh television soap 'Pobol Y Cwm' by the time she was a teenager. With her early start in the industry, Roach continued to hone her craft, studying for her GCSE exams at the local comprehensive school while simultaneously pursuing her passion for acting.
In 2003, Roach's hard work and dedication paid off when she won the award for the best juvenile actor in a soap at the Children in Entertainment Awards, beating out other talented young actors from national soaps. After leaving 'Pobol Y Cwm' in 2005, Roach went on to join the National Youth Theatre of Wales, where she had the opportunity to work with other talented young actors and further develop her skills.
Roach's next step was to attend the prestigious R.A.D.A. (Royal Academy of Dramatic Art),where she graduated with a B.A. in acting in 2010. Following her graduation, Roach landed a number of high-profile roles in television series and films, including the role of the younger Margaret Thatcher in the biopic 'The Iron Lady' alongside the renowned actress Meryl Streep.
