Alicia Rae Underwood, a talented individual born in Dallas, Texas, to parents Diana and Andrew Underwood, has always been driven to pursue a career in television and film. From a young age, Alicia was performing for friends and family in self-directed skits and was often seen with a video camera in hand. Her parents, both with a background in the entertainment industry, instilled in Alicia a strong work ethic and the importance of perseverance, qualities that would serve her well in her future endeavors.
Alicia's early start in the industry began when she competed in a beauty pageant at the age of 10. This experience led her parents to enroll her in some of the top acting camps and workshops in the Dallas area, where she spent her summers and weekends honing her craft. She went on to book regional commercials and land her first supporting role in a teen comedy movie.
Lar Park Lincoln, a renowned acting coach, discovered Alicia at an audition workshop and took her under her guidance, helping her develop the star qualities needed to succeed in the industry. This opportunity led to Alicia landing her first-ever film/play hybrid titled "Ghost Party," alongside Lar Park Lincoln.
After moving to Los Angeles to pursue acting full-time, Alicia booked a leading role in the short comedy "You Wish," which went on to place as a finalist at the Cannes International Film Festival. Her additional credits include the slasher film "House Of Dolls," alongside Euphoria star Meeko Gatusso and Dee Wallace, as well as her first guest star role in the faith-based series "Vindication," streaming on Amazon.
Alicia trains at MAD Acting Studio with Maximillian Decker and is set to wrap a family-friendly feature titled "Adam's Fire" with Chris Alvarez from The Terminal List in summer 2023.
In addition to her acting career, Alicia is dedicated to serving others. She serves on the Emerging Leader's Advisory Board of the non-profit Imagine LA, which works to combat family poverty and homelessness.
