Alix West Lefler is a rising star in the film and television industry. Born to a Canadian mother and a New Zealander father, Lefler is a "Caniwi" who has spent her life traveling between Canada and New Zealand with her parents. She began acting at the age of 7, after auditioning for a local play, and later joined Biz Studios and the LeBlanc School of Acting.
Lefler's early credits include guest spots on ABC's The Good Doctor and recurring roles in Freeform's Siren, Syfy's Resident Alien, and The CW's Riverdale. She gained critical acclaim for her role as Alex Loughren in Netflix's true crime thriller The Good Nurse, opposite Eddie Redmayne and Jessica Chastain.
Lefler is set to star in the upcoming indie thriller The King Tide, alongside Frances Fisher and Clayne Crawford, and will also appear in Blumhouse and Universal's Speak No Evil, opposite James McAvoy, Mackenzie Davis, and Scoot McNairy.
In addition to her acting career, Lefler enjoys travel, adventure, and logger sports. She is an excellent axe thrower and has competed in lumberjack shows. When not acting, Lefler spends her time with her friends, her dog Fred, and her family in Vancouver, Canada.
