Allan Svensson's educational background is rooted in his alma mater, the esteemed Acting School in Gothenburg. His early foray into the world of acting saw him take on the role of the youthful Erik in the 1978 production of Hedebyborna.
Subsequently, Svensson's professional journey took him to the Stockholm City Theatre, where he spent an impressive fifteen-year tenure between 1979 and 1994. During this period, he not only honed his acting skills but also ventured into directing, bringing Kenneth Grahame's beloved classic, The Wind in the Willows, to life on stage.
Throughout his career, Svensson has primarily worked in television, with notable appearances in Olov Svedelid's police-series, Roland Hassel, and the popular comedy show, Svensson Svensson, in which he played the lovable character of Gustav Svensson.
