Allen Neal Jones, known professionally as AJ Styles, is a renowned American professional wrestler currently signed to WWE's Raw brand. With a career spanning over two decades, Styles has worked for the biggest promotions globally, earning him a reputation as one of the greatest wrestlers of his generation.
Throughout his illustrious career, Styles has competed for various independent promotions, World Championship Wrestling (WCW),Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA, now Impact Wrestling),and New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). He made his debut in 1998 and gained initial mainstream exposure in WCW in 2001.
Styles became widely recognized after signing with TNA, who described him as the cornerstone of the company since its inception. He won the TNA World Heavyweight Championship twice, the NWA World Heavyweight Championship three times, and was the inaugural titleholder of the X Division Championship, which he won six times. Additionally, he holds the distinction of being the first TNA Triple Crown and Grand Slam champion.
Styles also had a successful stint in Ring of Honor (ROH) from 2002 to 2006, where he became the inaugural ROH Pure Champion. He simultaneously appeared in NJPW between 2014 and 2016, winning the IWGP Heavyweight Championship twice.
