Andrew Burlinson, a native New Yorker, graduated with honors from Harvard University, earning a degree in English and American Literature. He then pursued a career in acting, studying in New York and eventually securing a coveted spot as a Blue Man in the renowned Blue Man Group.
Throughout his six-year tenure with the Blue Man Group, Andrew performed for thousands of theatergoers in New York, Boston, Chicago, and Brazil. His professional acting career has spanned over twenty years, during which he has appeared in a diverse range of projects, including indie short films, Oscar-nominated feature films, web series, Emmy-nominated network TV series, black box theater, stadium half-time shows, live late-night TV, and Super Bowl commercials.
In addition to his acting career, Andrew has also ventured into writing and producing. He co-wrote, co-produced, and co-starred in the new media series Grip and Electric, which features Henry Thomas (E.T., The Haunting of Bly Manor) and Lin Shaye (the Insidious film series). The series was recommended by The New York Times and Tubefilter and earned Andrew an Indie Series Award for Best Writing for a Comedy Series.
Andrew has also written and directed several short comedies that have won numerous awards in film festivals worldwide. Furthermore, he has written articles that have been published on Romper and Greatist, and is constantly developing a slate of series, features, children's books, and novels.
Prior to his writing and acting career, Andrew was a singer-songwriter who played gigs at various venues in New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles. He has also appeared in numerous national commercials, including highly visible spots for Geico, Hyundai, TD Ameritrade, Volkswagen, Tamiflu, Verizon Fios, Comcast, Avis, Vizio, Ford, and AT&T, among many others.
