Andrew Ellis, a talented individual hailing from Wythenshawe, Manchester, discovered his passion for acting during his high school years. It was during this time that he caught the attention of esteemed casting director Michelle Smith, who went on to audition him for various projects. One such project was the acclaimed 2006 film "This is England", directed by Shane Meadows and winning a BAFTA award. Ellis's impressive performance in this film led to his subsequent appearances in numerous film and television productions, with his iconic portrayal of "Gadget" in the "This is England" television series being particularly notable.
In addition to his accomplishments in front of the camera, Andrew Ellis is also an accomplished writer and director. As one of the founding members of the award-winning UNILAD original video team, he served as the head of fictional video until 2018. Following his departure from UNILAD, Ellis went on to establish his own production company, "Odd Drawer Digital", where he continues to showcase his creative talents.
