As he grew older, he refined his craft at The Oldham Theater Workshop, laying the foundation for his future success.
Knott's breakthrough in the film industry came with his role in The Secret Garden (1993),where he had the opportunity to share the screen with the esteemed Maggie Smith. This experience was followed by his appearance in Black Beauty (1994),a Warner Brothers production that further solidified his position in the industry.
