At the tender age of 13, I had the opportunity to take on a multifaceted role, directing, shooting, and editing an educational video on teen pregnancy for the Dekalb County School System in Atlanta, Georgia.
In addition to this impressive feat, I co-founded a local improvisational comedy project called "ADTV" with my brother David and friend Matt Comegys, which I successfully managed from 1990 to 1992. This endeavor earned me valuable extra credit in my junior high classes.
As a musician, I played in several Atlanta punk bands, including The FetalPigs from 1991 to 1992, Evergreen from 1992 to 1994, and Thumper from 1994 to 1995.
In a more literary pursuit, I founded a B-Movie zine called "Gonzoriffic" while working as a video store manager, and later brought it to the Internet in 1998.
In 1999, I had the pleasure of meeting actress Monica Puller, and we co-founded Gonzoriffic Films together in 2001.
