Anthony Leigh Adams is a multifaceted creative force with a diverse range of credits in film, television, and theatre. As a producer, he has worked on the Emmy Award-winning CBS series, The Amazing Race. His television writing credits include over 30 episodes for various series, such as Duck Tales for Disney Animation, Fraggle Rock for Marvel/Jim Henson Productions, and She Wolf of London for Universal Television.
In addition to his television work, Anthony has written and produced several films and television movies. His credits include the ABC movie, Badge of Betrayal, starring Harry Hamlin, and the NBC movie, Murder or Memory, starring Emmy-winner Leigh Taylor Young. He has also developed film and television projects for Disney/ABC, Warner Bros., Universal, CBS, and NBC.
Anthony is also a skilled composer and has written music for several of his original stage productions. One of his most notable projects is Sideways The Musical, based on the original novel and Oscar-winning film. The musical features a score composed by Anthony, as well as book and lyrics co-written by him. The original cast album was released by Broadway Records in August 2023.
Anthony's other stage projects include Primal Twang: The Legacy of the Guitar, a theatrical journey through the colorful history of the world's most popular instrument. The musical featured electrifying live performances by Grammy Award-winning guitar greats Eric Johnson, Albert Lee, Andrew York, Mason Williams, Doc Watson, and Dan Crary. The concert documentary aired nationally on PBS and won Best Documentary Feature at the Rome International Film Festival.
He also wrote, directed, and composed original songs for Love-In, a celebration of the eclectic music of the 1960s from rock and soul to Indian ragas. The concert documentary featured an all-star cast and was hosted by Tony Award-winner Ben Vereen. It was released nationally on PBS.
Anthony's latest project is his debut novel, Chasing Shadows, co-written with his writing partner Christina Adams. The novel tells the story of an American family torn apart when a loving father and respected college professor suddenly abandons his 21-year-old daughter, who will stop at nothing to find him and learn the truth about his secret life. The novel was inspired by the true story of Christina's father, who was a Catholic priest and member of a covert political society in the Vatican.
Anthony and Christina are currently working on a sequel to Chasing Shadows, focusing on Christina's encounter with her father in India.
