Anthony's academic journey began in California, where he completed his college degree in 1983. This milestone marked the start of a new chapter in his life, as he returned to San Francisco and was introduced to his soon-to-be agent. The agent presented Anthony with an extraordinary opportunity - a one-way ticket to Paris, France. Without hesitation, Anthony seized the chance to embark on a new adventure, leaving the familiar behind.
Paris became his home for the next nine years, from 1983 to 1992. During this period, Anthony had the privilege of working with some of Europe's most esteemed directors, creating commercials that showcased his talent in various locations around the world. His travels took him to Brazil, Uruguay, New Zealand, South Africa, the Caribbean, Morocco, and Turkey, allowing him to immerse himself in diverse cultures and hone his craft.
While in Paris, Anthony had the opportunity to meet Robert Cordier, the Director of the Theatre Marie Stuart. Under Cordier's guidance, Anthony delved into the world of theatre, studying and performing in both French and English. The intimate setting of the 120-seat theatre in the 2nd arrondissement provided a unique platform for Anthony to showcase his acting abilities.
Anthony's travels between New York and Paris allowed him to continue his studies and performances in both cities. It was during this time that he met Robert Lewis, one of the original founders of the Actors Studio. Anthony was accepted into Lewis's prestigious MasterClass, where he honed his skills alongside other talented actors.
Anthony's acting career received a significant boost when he auditioned for and won the role of "Anthony, the Body Guard" in the movie Godfather III. He worked on the film for five months, gaining invaluable experience and exposure in the process.
