April, a multi-talented individual, has been a prominent figure in the music industry since the tender age of fifteen. Her impressive resume also includes working with esteemed composers like Alan Menkin, who has won Oscars for his work on films like "The Little Shop of Horrors," "The Little Mermaid," and "Beauty and the Beast," as well as Tony-nominated Michael Cory, who has worked on productions such as "Grey Gardens." April has been a staff songwriter for several prominent music publishers, including Grammy winners Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil, and Warner Chappell Music. She was also a member of the award-winning group Theatre Tribe in Los Angeles, appearing in several of their productions, including the West Coast premieres of "Book of Days" and "Sympathetic Magic," which received a Drama Critic's Circle Award.
April has also made appearances in films like "Fame" and has continued to work in film and theater on both coasts.
