Aseem Bajaj, a multi-award winning cinematographer of great distinction and repute, has reached a remarkable pinnacle of success in his illustrious career by garnering the most prestigious and coveted trophy for outstanding cinematography at the esteemed Asian Festival for 1st films.

This remarkable achievement is all the more noteworthy and impressive, considering the fact that Bajaj took a bold and unconventional approach to his craft, boldly charting his own course and forging his own path, despite having every resource and opportunity available to him.

Aseem's life began within a family that boasted a profound cultural legacy, with his father, Ram Gopal Bajaj, being a renowned theatre veteran and a distinguished emeritus of the prestigious National School of Drama (NSD). As he navigated his childhood, Aseem was consistently exposed to the captivating world of theatre, actively participating in numerous productions, where he took on various roles, including backstage and production work, under the expert guidance of the illustrious N K Sharma and his esteemed group, Act 1.

Aseem's formative years were characterized by a profound and lasting influence from his mentor, Ashok Bhagat, who instilled in him a deep understanding of music and lighting, laying the groundwork for a future rich in creative expression.
