Atticus Ronald Shaffer, a native of California, has had a multifaceted career in the entertainment industry. Growing up, he was homeschooled by his mother, who exposed him to a wide range of artistic mediums and genres.
As a child, Atticus was fascinated by the world of art and storytelling. He would spend hours listening to his mother read storybooks out loud in character voices, and he developed a love for the art of voice acting. When he was just 7 years old, he began working on a year-long fundraising campaign for Shriner's Hospital in Los Angeles, which ultimately led him to meet a talent manager who was impressed by his voice and thought he could be a book-on-tape reader or cartoon character.
After meeting with the manager, Atticus's career began to take off. He landed multiple roles in TV, commercials, and movies, including a role in the original pilot for ABC's The Middle, which he reprised two years later. He also became a prolific voice actor, lending his talents to numerous animated shows and films, including Disney's The Lion Guard, Frankenweenie, Netflix's Harvey Street Kids, and Amazon Prime's Pete the Cat.
As Atticus grew older, he continued to hone his craft, studying all aspects of TV and movie production. He made several award-winning short films and was accepted into the Warner Bros. Director's Workshop, an intensive program that prepares professionals to direct Warner Bros. television projects. He graduated with honors and has since become an accomplished director, writer, and producer.
Despite his success, Atticus remains humble and true to his passions. He is an unapologetic nerd who enjoys reading, writing, watching TV and movies, listening to music, gaming, and learning new languages, including his ancestral language, Polish. He has also developed two side careers: gaming on the live stream platform Twitch and content creation for his YouTube channel, AtticusShafferVlog.
Throughout his career, Atticus has demonstrated a unique blend of creativity, determination, and passion. As he continues to grow and evolve as an artist, he remains committed to his craft and to bringing joy and inspiration to audiences around the world.
