Audrey Smallman, a talented young actress, was born on January 22, 2006, to Dina Smallman, a communication designer, and Kirk Smallman, who works in film.
As a child, Audrey's love for expression led her to take theatre classes at a not-for-profit arts program in Vancouver, British Columbia. At the tender age of five, she started taking on-camera acting classes, and her passion for acting only grew stronger.
Audrey's younger brother, Atlee Smallman, soon followed in her footsteps, and the two have since collaborated on several projects, including a "D-Con" commercial together.
Audrey's early success in commercials led to bookings for several notable brands, including "LifeLock", "Ashley Furniture", and "Shutterfly", for which she even sang the entire song and won the 2015 Joey Award for "Best Actress in a TV commercial or PSA".
As she transitioned to film and television projects, Audrey landed her first role in a Hallmark film, "Family for Christmas", where she played one of Lacey Chabert's daughters. She continued to impress audiences with her performances in "Go With Me", alongside Ray Liotta, and "Midnight Sun", alongside Bella Thorne and Patrick Schwarzenegger.
However, it was her lead role in "Date My Dad" as "Gia Cooper", alongside Barry Watson and Raquel Welch, that truly catapulted her to fame. For this role, she won a Young Entertainer Award for "Best Leading Young Actress" and a Joey Award for "Best Series Regular".
Since then, Audrey has continued to work on various projects, including "Benchwarmers 2: Breaking Balls" alongside Jon Lovitz and guest starring in "Family Law".
Off-screen, Audrey has been exploring her passion for producing, executive producing the short film "Call Button", written and directed by Rhona Rees and produced by The Wives Entertainment. She is also an accomplished singer and electric guitarist, and enjoys keeping active on her soccer team and skiing in the winter.
Currently, Audrey is enrolled in a theatre program that continually challenges her and helps her hone her craft.
