Dr. Ava has made numerous television appearances, including shows such as The Doctors in 2008, LA Shrinks in 2013, Kendra on Top in 2012, Cathouse: The Series in 2005, and various programs on MTV, VH1, Discovery, Lifetime, TLC, "E", and A&E.
Dr. Ava holds two doctoral degrees, one in human behavior from Newport University in California, and another in human sexuality from the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality in San Francisco. Additionally, she is a certified hypnotherapist, a certified AASECT sex counselor, a continuing education provider for the California Board of Behavioral Sciences and California Board of Nursing.
