Barbara Radecki resides in Toronto, where she shares her life with her husband Philippe Ayoub. Prior to embarking on her illustrious career, Barbara earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting from the University of Windsor, where she was honored with the prestigious Governor's Medal for her outstanding achievements in her class.
Throughout her professional journey, Barbara has had the privilege of appearing in numerous film and television roles, captivating audiences with her talent. However, she is perhaps most widely recognized for lending her voice to the iconic character of Sailor Neptune in the original English-language adaptation of the beloved anime series, Sailor Moon.
In addition to her acting endeavors, Barbara has also ventured into the realm of screenwriting, co-authoring the screenplay for the film Modern Persuasion. Furthermore, she has explored the world of novel-writing, with two coming-of-age novels, The Darkhouse and Messenger 93, already published to great acclaim. Barbara has also had the opportunity to narrate the audio book versions of both novels, bringing her unique voice to the stories.
As a respected instructor, Barbara shares her expertise with students at the University of Toronto's School of Continuing Studies, guiding them in the art of creative writing.
