Nicholas Beau Nelson, professionally known as Beau Nelson, was born on a Marine Base in Cherry Point, North Carolina, and shortly after, his family relocated to Tampa, Florida. The majority of his grade school years were spent in Tampa, but a parental divorce led to his relocation to Wisconsin with his mother.
Growing up as a shy child, Beau had little intention or desire to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. Instead, he focused on his education, excelling in honors classes in Law, Physics, and Spanish, ultimately earning a High Honors degree in Computer Science.
During his early adult years, Beau sought a more creative outlet to express himself. With minimal experience in the entertainment industry, he began traveling hundreds of miles to Chicago for short, 5-minute auditions, and landed his first lead role in a feature film in Indiana, 2 states away. This pivotal moment marked the beginning of his journey to Los Angeles.
Upon arriving in Los Angeles, Beau brought his Midwestern values and strong work ethic, quickly establishing himself in the industry. Within the first 2 years, he accumulated over 20 feature film credits, steadily building a career as an actor.
Beau has since expanded his creative pursuits to include producing, continuing to create opportunities for himself and others in his emotionally rewarding career.
