Ben Cockell is a multifaceted individual with a passion for the performing arts, as well as a background in writing and directing. He has gained recognition for his recurring roles in two prominent television series, playing the characters of Jackson in the Disney Plus original show "The Mysterious Benedict Society" (2021),and Young Morgan Edge in The CW's "Superman and Lois" (2021).
Ben is currently residing in Vancouver, a city that has played a significant role in his professional development. He holds a degree from Vancouver Film School's esteemed Writing for Film and Television Program, where he honed his skills and gained a deeper understanding of the industry.
In addition to his acting pursuits, Ben has also ventured into the realm of filmmaking, having written and directed several short films. One of his projects, which won the Audience Favourite Award at the Vancouver International Film Festival in the Youth Category, went on to tour across North America, showcasing his talents to a wider audience.
Ben has also received recognition for his work as a playwright, having won the Top Development Grant at The Arts Club's LEAP Young Playwrights Program for his aquatic-themed musical "Amputated Parts". He is currently working on a new short film titled "Family Photo", in which he will also star, further demonstrating his versatility and dedication to his craft.
