Bennett "Ben" Joseph Savage, a talented individual, entered this world on September 13th, 1980, in the vibrant city of Chicago, Illinois. His journey in the world of acting began at a remarkably young age of five, with his debut appearance in a commercial. This initial foray into the spotlight was merely the beginning, as he went on to secure his first major speaking role in the comedy series, Dear John, in 1988. This opportunity allowed him to share the screen with renowned actor Judd Hirsch and fellow Chicago native, Isabella Hofmann.
Throughout his early career, Ben appeared in a variety of made-for-TV movies and films, with one of his most notable roles being in the 1993 miniseries Wild Palms. However, it was his lead role in the popular series Boy Meets World in 1993 that catapulted him into stardom. Despite his burgeoning acting career, Ben remained committed to his education, ultimately graduating from the prestigious Stanford University in 2004 with a degree in Political Science.
In the summer of 2003, Ben took a break from his acting pursuits to intern with the office of US Senator Arlen Specter, a Republican from Pennsylvania. This experience marked the beginning of a new chapter in his life, one that would see him transition from the spotlight to a career in politics.
