Benjamin Keepers, the youngest of nine siblings, was raised on a dairy farm in rural Northern Wisconsin, within the picturesque landscape of the "Great North Woods". As a child, he was fascinated with the family's video camera, coercing his family members into participating in his homemade creations. When volunteers were scarce, he turned to filming the cattle or employed stop motion animation techniques. This early exposure to filmmaking laid the foundation for his future endeavors.
Benjamin's passion for acting was evident in his high school theater department, where he excelled and won numerous awards. At the age of 18, he set out to pursue his dreams of making films in Los Angeles. He was accepted into schools in both New York City and Los Angeles, ultimately choosing to attend the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts. He later went on to study at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute and the Actors Studio West, where he honed his craft under the guidance of renowned instructors.
After several years of intense study and performance experience in various theaters, including The Fountain Theater and The Tiffany Theater on Sunset, Benjamin decided to focus on film and television. Throughout his career, he has had the opportunity to share the screen with talented actors such as Marc Maron, Will Patton, Samantha Morton, Sam Richardson, and Campbell Scott.
Benjamin's upcoming projects include "Class of '09" for FX, where he will be acting alongside Brian Tyree Henry, and the second season of the "Leverage: Redemption" re-boot.
