Born and raised in Paterson, New Jersey, Bernard Jones was destined for greatness from a young age. His early passion for the performing arts led him to start acting and singing in church, and he later joined a prestigious performing arts company that took him on a nationwide tour, sharing his talents with audiences across the United States.
Jones attended high school at the esteemed Rosa L. Parks School of Fine and Performing Arts, where he honed his craft and prepared for his future in the entertainment industry. After graduating, he went on to attend Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre.
During his time at Morehouse, Jones was given the rare opportunity to embark on an international tour, singing background vocals for Grammy-nominated singer Lyfe Jennings. This experience further solidified his passion for the performing arts and prepared him for the challenges of a professional career.
Jones's first professional show was at the Alliance Theatre, where he played the role of Lil D in Andre 3000's Class of 3000. Working alongside the legendary Andre 3000 was a dream come true, and Jones has since gone on to play a variety of roles, including Mushu in Disney's Mulan and the original role of JB in The Real Tweenagers of Atlanta.
When he's not on stage, Jones can be seen on television, where he has appeared in a number of notable roles. He played Milo on Tyler Perry's Meet the Browns and House of Payne, both on TBS, and has also appeared on Single Ladies opposite Isiah Washington and Lisa Raye.
In addition to his work in the entertainment industry, Jones is also a talented photographer, showcasing his skills behind the lens.
