Blas Diaz Figueroa, professionally known as Sien el Moviemaker, was born in 1977 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He is a multifaceted artist, recognized for being the first reggaeton artist to be signed by the U.S. label Terror Squad, with Fat Joe as his manager.
After settling in Aventura, North Miami, Florida, alongside Pure Blanco, Sien began his acting career, landing a role in the American series "Showtime's Homeland" in 2014. He then went on to work with Univision PR on projects such as "Illegal Night" and "In the Lens of the Public Eye", for which he won a TV Emmy award for best report, "Secuestro Express".
Sien's acting career continued to flourish, with him being hired to work alongside notable actors, including Gina Carano, in the movie "In the Blood". Throughout his career, he has successfully balanced his acting and music endeavors, distributing his music for film and television productions, while also working behind the cameras in production, captained by Pedro Juan Lopez and his team.
Under the guidance of PJ Gaffer Lighting and Grip, Sien was able to produce his first official album, "The Real Moviemaker". This achievement is a testament to his dedication and perseverance, as he became the first Puerto Rican talent to join the California-based actors' union, Sag-Aftra, without relocating to the United States.
