Rob Davies, a remarkable individual, first drew breath in the year 1968 within the city limits of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, the loving and patient Gordon and Pauline Davies being his proud parents. As a youngster, Rob would often spend his spring and summer seasons in the picturesque seaside town of White Rock, British Columbia, where he would develop a fluency in the English language that would serve him well throughout his life.
As Rob traversed the trajectory of his life, his academic aptitude did not exhibit exceptional prowess, and he encountered difficulties in navigating the realm of test grades during his high school tenure.
Despite this, he demonstrated a capacity to persevere and ultimately secured his post-high school education in the realm of fine arts and animation, thereby establishing a foundational basis for his future professional endeavors.
Rob's educational pursuits ultimately culminated in a career-defining opportunity to collaborate on the development of the televised animated series Beetlejuice, a groundbreaking project that afforded him the chance to refine his artistic skills and lay the groundwork for his future success in the industry.
Rob's professional journey took a significant turn in the early 2000s when he relocated to Los Angeles, California, a hub for the entertainment industry. It was during this time that he landed a role at Warner Brothers, where he was tasked with the creative responsibility of storyboarding on the popular animated series Pinky and the Brain.
As he honed his skills and gained valuable experience, Rob's talents did not go unnoticed. After completing a season on the show, he was approached by his former director, Nelson Recinos, with an exciting opportunity. Together, they would direct alongside each other, leading two exceptional animation teams.
Throughout this period, Rob's dedication, expertise, and exceptional abilities played a crucial role in the production's success. His collaborative efforts with Nelson Recinos yielded outstanding results, ultimately earning the series a prestigious Emmy Award.
