Bob Doucette was raised in Maine, surrounded by a community that fostered his artistic inclinations. He began drawing and painting as a child, encouraged by his parents, who provided him with art lessons. At the age of eight, he started painting classes, initially using oil paints, but his mother soon switched him to acrylics due to his tendency to create a mess.
As he grew older, Bob's love for art only deepened, and he was fortunate to have several renowned Maine artists who mentored and guided him in his development as an artist.
