Bobby Duncum Jr. was a professional wrestler, son of Bobby Duncum Sr., who made his debut in September 1992 for the Texas-based Global Wrestling Federation.
He went on to have successful stints in prominent wrestling promotions, including All Japan Pro Wrestling and Extreme Championship Wrestling, but it was his appearances in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) that cemented his legacy.
Early in his WCW career, Duncum Jr. engaged in a notable program with WCW World Television Champion Chris Jericho, though he ultimately failed to capture the title.
However, 1999 marked a pivotal moment in his career, as he turned heel and formed an alliance with Curt Hennig, Kendall Windham, and Barry Windham, collectively known as the West Texas Rednecks.
As part of this group, Duncum Jr. feuded with rappers Master P and the No Limit Soldiers, with the West Texas Rednecks even recording the song "Rap is Crap".
Despite being heels, the group's antics and the song's notoriety earned them a significant following among Southern fans.
Tragically, Bobby Duncum Jr.'s life was cut short when he died of an accidental drug overdose on January 24, 2000, at the age of 34.
