Bradley Sherwood, a talented individual, was born on November 24, 1964, in the vibrant city of Chicago, Illinois, and later grew up in the culturally rich Santa Fe, New Mexico. His passion for acting began at a tender age of eight, and his dedication to his craft only grew stronger with time.
After completing his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from Wright State University, Sherwood made his way to the entertainment capital of the world, Hollywood. His breakthrough role came in 1994 with the sketch-comedy series, The Newz, and he soon followed it up with several guest appearances on the popular television show, L.A. Law, playing a lovestruck nanny.
Sherwood's impressive acting skills didn't go unnoticed, and he began making regular appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno in 1992. He also worked as a commentator for VH1, showcasing his versatility as a performer. In 1992, he joined the cast of the improvisational comedy show, Whose Line Is It Anyway?, becoming a recurring performer and a fan favorite.
In addition to his work on Whose Line, Sherwood ventured into stand-up comedy, appearing alongside fellow Whose Line co-star Colin Mochrie in the 2002 comedy special, Jane White Is Sick & Twisted. He also hosted The Dating Game from 1997 to 1998 and The Big Moment in 1999.
In 2006, Sherwood reunited with Colin Mochrie for a United States and Canada tour, performing classic improv games from Whose Line. The same year, he became engaged to his long-time partner, Shauna, and the couple tied the knot in February 2007.
