Noted American actor, born on Staten Island, New York, made his cinematic debut at the tender age of 14 in Todd Solondz's critically acclaimed film, Welcome to the Dollhouse, where he portrayed the complex and troubled character of Brandon McCarthy, earning a nomination for an Independent Spirit Award.
He subsequently gained recognition for his lead role in the Sundance award-winning film, Hurricane Streets, which garnered a total of three awards. His impressive filmography also includes appearances in the Academy Award-winning films, Boy's Don't Cry and Black Hawk Down, as well as notable cult films, Empire Records and Pecker.
