Brian George, the youngest of four siblings, was born in July 1952 in Jerusalem to Jewish parents who had previously emigrated to Israel from India. His father, born in Iraq, spent his formative years in Bombay, while his mother was born and raised in India. Just a year after Brian's birth, his family relocated to London, where he attended an all-boys school.
In 1966, the family made the move to Toronto, and Brian enrolled in public high school, followed by the University of Toronto, where he developed a passion for theater. However, he left before graduating to form an unsuccessful theater group.
Undeterred, Brian joined The Second City, a renowned comedy troupe, where he honed his skills alongside comedy legends like John Candy. This marked the beginning of a successful career in acting and voice-over work, which has endured to this day.
